Coolant Inlet/Outlet??

Coolant Inlet/Outlet?? Before i run the beast for long, I want to make sure i have my radiator hoses on correctly. 
On the water pump, which opening is the inlet and which is the outlet? Is the opening with the thermostat the outlet?? Thanks in advance!

Nope. Thermostat housing is INLET, or LOWER radiator hose.
