Exclamation suggestions on possible third gen swap?

My friend is trying to convince me to shitcan getting my 02 z28 back on the road. I have always wanted a third gen and now hes trying to convince me to just put the engine into a third gen. This thought has always been in the back of my mind but idk if my budget allows for it. If i were to do this I really want to do an interior swap as well. what would i have to buy besides a k member to make this work? consider that I have a complete 02 z28 minus the functioning longblock and a complete long block waiting for the heads to get back from the machine shop. could i swap the t56? is there anything that I cant reuse from the old engine/accessories/wiring? how ridiculous is the fab work to swap interior parts too? im so lost

It's not that hard, a friend of mine is putting a 408 into an '84. He's got a Spohn K-member.

It simply can't be done, it's physically impossible...

OK, on a serious note, check out the TGO link that techrunner posted above (especially the 'sticky' post at the top of the page!) & then come back here & post lots of pics of your build!!
