Default Need some help.

I just needed help with a set up option. I am sbout to buy an LS6 intake and the seller also have LS6 injectors. I just wanted to know is it really worth it to go with the LS6 injectors over my LS1 set up with that intake. I am not really planning on going to crazy on my motor for now but we all know how that goes. Anyways just trying to get some feed back on wether or not to spend the exrta money on LS6 injectors or just stay with the stock stuff. Also to give you an idea of how I stand I have and LS1 SS camaro motor going into my 69 Nova and the only mods I plan on doing this year atleast are the LS^ intake maybe injectors based on your comments a ported throttle body and MAF and also headers and exhaust. SO please give me you real thoughts on this.

Default Nope

No what I have read is that the LS1 had 26lb and the LS6 come with 28Lb. Correct me if I am wrong but thats what all of my research has told me. Just wanted to know if 2lb's is really worth it.

Guess it depends on how much you plan to do. If you can get em for a decent price take them, I would, since I've already tweeked mine a bit and would like the safe factor.

There is no need to increase the size of your injectors unless the engine needs more fuel. If you are simply doing headers and an LS6 intake, the stock 26# injectors will be more than adequate. My '99 Corvette didn't need bigger injectors until I added a bigger cam, headers, & FAST intake. If you know someone who can scan your car while driving you can see what your injector duty cycle is. 85% DC is considered a very conservative safe maximum. There is no performance increase from bigger injectors unless your engine needs more fuel.
