Throttle Body Modifications??
Throttle Body Modifications?? I bought a stock '02 Vette DBW throttle body to put on my LS6 but the cable drive TB was opened up so the intake is wider. The picture shows the TB intake bell was widened so it goes all the way to the outer edge but the butterflies in both are still the 75mm opening.
I can do this to the DBW TB, but is it worth it? Will I lose any HP by not opening up the intake bell??

Sounds good to me. I wasn't looking forward to the work (have LOTS left to do on the car) but I might just polish it a little since that will add at least 3hp to the driver.
This is going on an LS6 with a 4L60E attached so that, to me, means that achieving the absolute best throttle response will be negated by the automatic tranny.
