Recirculation Actuator Control to fan control
I have HP Tuners to turn on the fans.
I see that a 2001 Camaro Blue connector pin 42 is used for low speed, and red connector pin 33 is used for high speed.
When I look up 2001 truck blue pin 42 it is not used (no electric fans), and red 33 is used for "Recirculation Actuator Control", and is circuit 1614. I cannot find the schematic that shows where 1614 goes, but it sounds like EGR to me.
Ive got the EGR removed, the connector is just dangling as I havent done anything with it yet.
Does my truck red 33 go to the 5 pin EGR connector, if so which wire, cuz the circuit 1614 does not show up on the pin out list for that connector?? This could be possible cuz the wire changes circuit # along the way to the 5 pin connector maybe.
Thanks for any help guys.
I finally found the schematic late last night that says what you said. I sorta answered my own questions in the end. Sorry for wasting board space.
