Which one do I want? My '89 Mustang coupe project is in the planning stages. My goals are between 400-500 rwhp, keeping a light weight over all car (under 2800# empty), 1.5" wider fenders and quarters for the 17X10" wheels (all 4), road race type suspension, T56, heat and a/c, and "drive anywhere" ability.
LS1, or iron truck 6.0? What year to look for? Will add N2O and or turbo later.

IMO, with any planed power adders (Turbo or N2O) and with that expected HP range you want.. you would be safer by going with an Iron block.
Question, what is the intended use ?.. Road Racing, Auto-X. Drags, Street/Strip or pro street/touring ? I know you stated Drive anywhere ability, but in what style ?
