yes and yes....The brackets on this car were custom made to utilize the ford power steering pump.

I will measure the vertical drop below the pan and get back to you

DAMN !!!! I was just fixin to order a set of Dynatech's when I noticed it says that they will not work with a Powerglide ....and you must use tubular lowers....before I call them, anyone know what the deal is with the Powerglide?

UCF , from the looks of your pics, I cant see what tubular lowers have to do with them fitting.

I would like to know about the powerglide too. I have the tubular arms but I am going to use a glide.

They are now made for the glide.
Follow that link now, it doesn't say "Not for Powerglide" or whatever anymore.

All that will do is drive the costs up. The fix to make them fit the sn-95 and fox cars with glides is simple. They were just not aware of the problem it sounds like.

Here's comparison pictures. SN95 vs Fox...

Greg in Tech was great. They sent me the new one I paid for it. Then I ship mine back ,and get refunded. Great guy to deal with thanks again for the top notch support..
