AC Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Can I adapt the GM Refrigeratior Pressure Sensor to the same port on my drier that originally had the trinary switch? Seems to me that location would be correct for the GM sensor to function.
I haven't measured the thread sizes and so on, but I'm wondering if by chance there's an adapter that might work for this? I've read that Doc's makes a braze on fitting (P/N anyone?), but my space requirements makes placing the sensor onto say a 90 degree or in-line fitting pretty difficult. Placing the sensor on the drier using some kind of adapter, if possible, would make for a neat installation in my case. I have machining facilities so it's possible I can make something up if indeed I can't find one.
