Idle relearn anybody???

Idle relearn anybody??? Can't get my ls1 to idle. I keep hearing idle relearn, anybody know how to do this? I drove my car around for an hour, still not any different. It dies going into gear and at a stop sign. Anybody?
Sounds like maybe your IAC isn't working right, have you taken it out to see if it's gunked up? Sometimes some carb cleaner will work to clean them up, just don't force the pintle to move as that might damage it. Also is your speed sensor hooked up? And what about the park/neutral wires going to the PCM, are they hooked up? I'm just throwing out some thing to check.
To do an IAC reset, do the following.
1 Depress the accelerator pedal slightly.
2 Start the engine.
3 Release the accelerator pedal.
4 Run the engine for 5 seconds.
6 Turn the ignition OFF for 10 seconds.
7 Restart the engine.
As for the idle relearn, I'm not sure on that. Maybe your thinking "crank position variation re-learn" or crank re-learn, as everybody calls it. To do it you need a scan tool that can do it. The GM service manual says to do it like this.
1 Install scan tool
2 Apply the vehicle's parking brake.
3 Block the drive wheels.
4 Close the vehicle's hood.
5 Place the transmission in park (a/t) or neutral (m/t)
6 Idle the engine until the coolant temp reaches 150*
7 Turn OFF all accessories.
8 Apply the brakes for the duration of the procedure.
9 Enable the Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn Procedure with the scan tool.
10 Slowly raise the engine speed to 4000 RPM.
11 Immediatly release the throttle when the engine speed decreases.
12 Turn off the ignition for 15 seconds after the learn procedure is completed successfully.
