Default header and swap questions (73 nova)

I will be putting an lq4 in my 73 nova soon and i have a few questions.

for headers I am considering getting a flange and moding either SBC or BBC headers to fit, since the engine will be EFI would i need to add O2 bungs? are there any cheap ls style LT's that can hammered to fit a 3rd gen nova/ 1st gen F body? I am not looking for anything nice and would like to spend less than $250 total.

I tried some of the cheap BBC headers from summit but they would need a bunch of work to fit and they would not allow me to use my Z-bar. I think next I will try some SBF headers, does anyone know of some that might work?

to answer my first question I think I would need to weld in some O2 bungs for a typical setup.

why dont you get the schoenfeld headers that are a supposed bolt in, for like $250

also, just buy a collector reducer with the o2 already built in. they are like $25. make sure to buy the right one. if your header has a ball end use a ball and socket type reducer, if it has a flat flange use a three bolt flange. dont ask me how I know.

which of their headers would work? the LS1-LS7 chassis? man if those things fit without hitting the steering box and Z-bar that is the ticket, why haven't i heard of these, been lurking for 3 years.

those headers look good but would they work on a 3rd gen? for an auto or someone with a hydrolic clutch they may be good, but I dont think they would work for me because there is a pipe that goes right where my z-bar is. I will have to look more closely at their other options.
