5.3\4l80e conversion I have been working on a 71 2wd blazer conversion for a few years now. I had planned on using a th400 but I have decided I want something a little more street friendly (after building my ls1 4Runner). So my question is I have already had the harness reworked and removed the transmission stuff. So should I use a non computer controlled version, get a new harness and reprogram the computer or use a full manual transmission? I have hp tuners so programming isnt a problem. I just dont know which transmission to look for.
4l80e If you have the money get the electronically controlled 4l80e. Will bolt up with no crank spacer and wiring it in is pretty straight forward.
