New picture are posted now for as the header wire clearance question,I'm going to get some new wires.I used the stock crossmember,I had to modify it a little far as the holes on the trans mount, they were a little different from were the mount was .The mount was closer toward the engine than the rear end so I drilled the crossmember and bolted it up,problem solved.

did you get the flange with the bungs in them? if so where?
also, do these headers come heat treated and are they coated? I noticed you had two pics of steel ones, then black? did you just paint yours? little more info please?

For all you guys with the TCI/Heidt's/Alstons/DSE etc... Bolt on front ends, S&S Headers out of Arizona sells a set of LS long tube headers specifically for a 62-67 Nova with any of the above bolt on front ends. I have a 64 Nova, the pile of crap you see over there on the left, I have the Heidt's front end with the S&S Headers, they couldn't have fit any better!!! Hang no lower than the cross member, and have 3-bolt flanges, and O2 bungs. Not to mention they are one hell of a set of headers, mandrel bends, and very nice welds. They are more expensive than the Schoenfelds you guys are talking about, I think I paid 500+ for mine, but they are worth it!!! Just adding my two cents on the matter. I scratched my head wondering about headers for an LS motor in that God forsaken Nova for 2 years. Thank God I found the S&S Headers, never heard of them before then. Good luck to all, hope everyone has more drive and motivation than I do and actually finishes their cars!!!!

The header come with just some black paint on them,I sent mind out afterward an had them coated.I had the collector flange welded on also, they do not come with the collector flange. That a 20min welding job.I also brought the collector and I put the o2 bungs in them and not the header. The collector are 3 inch and can be brought just about anywhere.

I just visited Schoenfeld headers today to pick up a set of bent tubes for the 1-7/8" headers I am building. They said that if I tack the tubes and send them back, they will make me a set of single-piece tubes to replace them (at a cost). I mentioned that I could probably sell a few sets on here and SNS. I have a 67 that has a Checkered front clip (similar to most out there) and, of course, an LSx. If anyone is interested, I can possibly have a set or two made.

I know it's been a while but have you had any luck with this?
Thanks!
