Holy batman! Can't believe I hadn't ran into this thread yet. I bet you're excited to get it running. Nice cage too. Can you post pics of the side top bars going to the front. The ones parallel to the pillars

thanks

Oh wow. This is interesting. Some nice window tint would conceal the cage even more.

Doesn't the fender exit exhaust burn up you paint?

the windows are tinted, so once up, you can't really see the cage. As far as the exhaust, it won't burn up the paint. Might stain it a little though LOL

I;ve had a rear seat delete for about 4 years now. I am just putting the pad with "Pleather" that I already had in front of the firewall. I just have to notch it slightly for the bars.

Kirkey's in front, 12 gal fuel cell, no heater, manual rack, manual brakes. The wiring harness weighed almost 40lbs. It's all gone and simplified! LOL I did keep the factory Mach 500 stereo system!!

Not much new right now. It's getting all wired up and ready for Roger with C&S to come tune on it in a couple weeks.

I added a remote tranny cooler under the car, got the puke tanks installed under the front left fender for oil and water. Got the new rear end girdle on, got the front suspension set to where we want for now. Got it aligned and ready to go once the wiring is done.

I'll have video and updates once we get it fired up and ready to dyno in a couple weeks!!

and do you have any pics of the cage tubes at the front before the dash went in?

i checked out the pics in the shop's *****, but the only ones shown are with the bars not up in place and then with the dash installed...

i just wanna get a feel for how they were braced and routed behind the dash

thanks

I wish I could tell you how it ran, but it's been a wiring nightmare. Without the factory Gem Module in the car, it's been a bitch of a time getting the power window, door locks and stereo to work.

As far as the front dash bar. I took out the heater and all that so it was simple to do for Jake. It would have sucked, and as much of a genius as he is, it would have been a pain in the *** to do with it still there. I don't think the dash had to be notched at all to fit back in either. We have the 7531 box mounted to the bar up under it.
