How do you plug the empty holes on a PCM plug?

How do you plug the empty holes on a PCM plug? I took some unused pins out of the wiring harness plugs that plug into the PCM. Now I have empty holes where pins were. Do I need to cover or plug up those holes to keep moisture and dirt out? If so, how do I plug them? The hole doesn't look big enough for those purple or green metripack plugs. Actually, it looks like there's already some sort of membrane in there that was used to seal the plugs in the first place.

You are correct. The membrane was there before the pin was pushed into the plug when it was brand new. Unfortunately once the pin pushes through the membrane breaks and hinges out of the way. As suggested silicone/rtv would work. Not sure how much it matters though. On the LT1s the empty holes are left open by the factory.

It's true that water won't get into the PCM, but I'd be concerned about water getting between the PCM pins and the connectors. But as long as you didn't do alot of driving through ponds, rivers and small lakes you're probably going to be fine.
