limitations of a 5.3
You will never notice any low end lost with the ls6 cam and you'll keep the fuel effecence in tact with the 5.3. With the ls6 cam and a good tune you can see a 35hp increase with a lot more pull up top. I ran this cam in a 4.8 and loved it it was in a 5500lb 4x4 truck too so I would hjave missed any low end. If your worried about low end which I wouldn't much with a 3800 lb truck unless I was towing I'd go with what the truck guys reccomend. They are very picky about the torque of there combos because of how heavy there trucks are.
