Questions for the Fox guy's

I did a search but the only thing I found was info on the aftermarket stuff. My questions are
1 has anyone used the stock K member?
Has anyone used the stock 6.0L truck manifolds?

Thanks.

They use the stock sn-95 k member for the 4.6. I dont believe the manifolds will work on the drivers side.

I am doing the same thing. My fox body already came with a 4.6 k member from a 97 Cobra. A freind of mine lastnight gave me give stock 4.6 motor mounts, and another friend is giving me his 351 swap headers. (It helps when all my friends run mustangs) I have seen people cut the flanges off those and weld ls1 style flanges onto them. I'm going to start mock up as soon as christmas gets over with and I will post pictures as I go.

The '00 Z28 SS passenger side exhaust manifold is a good fit, but the driver's side won't clear the stock steering shaft. I tried those manifolds first. I've seen pics on here of the truck manifolds turned around for a front turbo, they seem to fit that way. I was using the stock '89 2.3L / A4LD k-member that came in my '89 Mustang LX. The oilpan was 3" lower than that, and then the snow arrived, so that's as far as I got this year. I'll try other oil pans come spring.

Which oil pan did you use? I have a truck pan and a fbody oil pan. I dont know which one will work best as of now.

6.0 truck manifolds here. once you cut off the factory sway bar mounts the manifolds fit like they were made for the car. just realized you were'nt asking about a turbo setup. my manifolds are flipped around.

the F-body pan will work the best for clearance.

I used BBK long tube 351 headers and had a muffler shop weld on the ls1 flanges. Its a cheap way for now until I get it all running. Steering shaft is rubbing still a bit so I may have to move things a little or dimple one tube.

my test fitting was all done using the truck oil pan. I suggest trying something else instead of trying to get the truck pan to work.

i used the 351 headers with ls1 flanges to...
same problem with steering shaft
also had to do a lil massaging on bottom of firewall to get them to clear but the price difference is worth it
