Default What ECM????

Hi, I'm trying to figure out what computer I should use for my swap. I have a 2000 LM7 5.3L and am thinking about using a self modified LS1 harness and don't know if I should get the LS1 ECM, or the regular LM7 ecm, which one should I use? What are you guys using on your 5.3L swaps?

It shouldn't mater which one you buy, since most likely you're going to get it flashed for your engine, anyway. You need to buy a 1999 through 2002, with the 12200411 (2001 /2002) being the more desiriable one

So I should look for any 2001/2002 computer right? Or is this a Camaro, or Corvette computer for these two year?

I have PCMs that are the format you need that have had their covers blasted, seals replaced, have been verified, come with an OEM calibration, and have a warranty for $125. If you need custom programming to eliminate VATS/Emissions/make HP, that can be added for an additional fee.

Send me a PM or use the contact form on my site for more information.

I've actually never seen a newer model Camaro/Vette/Truck with an LSX engine in any of the salvage yards our here in Oakland,California area. I've been to many pick&Pulls and other yards and never found any.
