If its for your 99... You'll need to start by buying gauges of your choice haha.

Programmable Speedo to make it easy.

Tach is a piece of cake.

Volt gauge is simple.

Oil pressure, you'll need to use the sender that comes with the gauge. The PCM doesnt use oil pressure, so you can ditch the stock sender. Im not sure if the stock LS1 sender will work with the gauge...but you can always test it out.

Temp gauge, you'll add the autometer sender into the rear of the passenger side head with an adapter that autometer sells. Same spot as the coolant temp sensor on the drivers head....just at the back.

Fuel.... Here's where you'll run into an issue. First, you will need to get the full sweep programmable gauge. Autometer does not make a movement that will match the sender in the LS1 fuel tank. You can get one that Sorta kinda works, but even that one will have to be sent back to autometer to have the movement reversed...just so it moves in the correct direction. It'll still be inaccurate. So just spend the dough and get the programmable gauge.

The other hang up with the fuel gauge is that you WILL have to ditch your EVAP system. In short, the PCM uses fuel level along with other inputs to work the EVAP purge system. Then transmits the fuel level to the stock gauge via serial data. You can NOT have an aftermarket fuel gauge hooked up to the sender wire and the PCM hooked up. The gauge will not work...so you have to cut the purple sender wire going to the PCM, and give it soley to the gauge...which will throw some codes for the EVAP and disable it.

That covers your basic gauge hook ups... As for mounting, search around. People have done it. You'll probably end up making a custom mounting panel to replace your cluster for the speedo and tach and one of the small gauges...then put the other gauges in a pillar pod. You might have room to put more into the dash...gotta play with it. Not sure if there is an aftermarket solution for that for the 4th gens... But again, search around...its been done.

I remember reading somewhere that it wont...but never tested it out.

You get a sender with the gauge though...so it shouldnt be a big deal. It'll mount in the stock location if you get a 45* fitting/adapter. Thats where I have mine...but some folks will drill and tap the piece that bolts on by the oil filter...Either way.
