im building a 74 impala 4 door and i wanna put a ls1 6.0L motor and 4l60e trans in it im new to the site and im tryin to see if anyone has done an ls1 swap in a 70-76 impala if u have any info on the swap please let me know what parts and things that need to be done for the swap to work. thanks for ur help in advance.

There's a sticky over on the Conversions/Hybrids section, at the top, that will tell you everything you need to drop an LS engine on an older SBC motor car. By the way, LS1's are 5.7L and LS2's are the 6.0L engines. You have to redo your fuel system, get conversion mount plates, wiring, etc... The sticky will be lots of help. Good Luck
