2007 ly6 and 2000 4l80e

2007 ly6 and 2000 4l80e What kind of problems am I going to run into trying to make this combo work?Is it even possible? I've got the 2007 wiring harness and both the pcm and the tcm. This is all going into a 68 chevelle.

im in the same boat..in 70 chevelle,,from what i read and searched.. the newer trans have a computer in them or something of that sort... the only way i think to get it to work is to buy a gen III harness and pcm modify it..,,buy the 58x tooth converter box to 24x..you will loose the vvt.. that pcm will control the 4l80e..thats the hard way.
easiest way is to buy a newer trans 07' or newer trans,,than u can keep vvt.. cost might be the same as to convert it to genIII ecm..
or put manuel valve body.. or seperate 4l80e controller on it.. this is just based on my knowledge,,so maybe someone else can chrime in..
im just going to run a manuel valve body.. 3200 stall and 10 psi boost,,same motor..08'
