I have the original harness of a 2005 5.3 avalanche,, I am trying to make my harness to a stand alone harness, but I am trying to eliminate the original fuse box, I have ID all the power wire to the ecm, maf, left injectors, right injectors, left coils, right coils, 02 sensors,1 for transmission, 1 power to the drive by wire module, I have the ones coming from the ecm to control the relays to the fan, fuel pump, my question is any of you know what size of fuse to use,,, I am planning on wiring like this"
left injectors to 1 fuse
right injectors to 1 fuse
ecm costant to 1 fuse
02 sensor to 1 fuse each
coil left 1 fuse
coil right 1 fuse
12v when ign to ecm 1 fuse
MAF 1 fuse
transmssion 1 fuse
and then of course a fuse for the ecm output for the 1 fuel pump and 2 fans
I also have on power wire for the DBW module..
anyone know what fuse size to use or if i can put some of this together like all 8 injectors maybe the 02 sensors
I know I can do this just need a little more help.. so I can spend the $700 on a cam kit instead of a harness

Unless you are ganging electronics onto a single fuse that werent there to begin with, go with the factory spec'd
