I am getting a 2001 silverado harness to run my 04 van lq4. Now i was gonna get a 01 ecm so it's plug and play just to eleviate any headaches. But I have an 05 silverado 463 ecm. Is there any advantage to using the 05 one? From what i've read i'd have to modify a little to run the O2 sensors but other than that should be direct swap for my 01 harness.

 

I see no advantage to using the newer one
