Default 1998 mustang conversion started

I have started a lq4 conversion on a 1998 mustang GT convertible and would like some advice. There seems to be a lot of information on swaps with aftermarked K members but I have not found very much with the stock crossmember.

The Plan:

lq4 engine (stock except for cam and springs)
4l80e trans
t70 turbo
truck manifolds
truck accessories
megasquirt engine control
megasquirt gpio transmission control
msd 6ls ignition control

my questions:

has anyone tried to get the truck intake to fit under the stock hood? I suspect that I am dreaming on this but would appreciate any feedback.

If not, does anyone know if it will fit under the Cobra R hood?

Same for the truck alternator mount?

What kind of pan will fit with the convertible k member brace?

What do I need to modify (besides driveshaft) to get the 4l80e trans to fit?

pictures would be great.

Thanks,

Chris

I'm doing almost the same swap to my '95. I'm using a QA1 4.6 k member. I'm sure you could use the stock k since you using manifolds. I just modified some 4.6 mounts to get the engine to fit. the truck intake fit under my 3.5" cowl hood, but i decided to use an aftermarket one. I'm using the truck pan for now. It hangs a little low but it fit's. I've got a fbody pan to put on it later. As for the 4l80e, it fits under my trans tunnel without modification. I just made a tubular trans crossmember and tied it into my subframe connectors. I'm sure you could make a crossmember to fit the factory mounts. hope this helps
