Default 5.3 genlll oil pan problems

I have a 1990 chevy 1500 and im trying to drop in a 2006 chevy 5.3 motor but the stock oil pan is too low so o need a shallow pan i got one off of a 01 corvette but it has theese extra wings on the sides will this work on my truck or will they hit my crossmember?

I'd try a F=body pan.

Try the lhx pan listed on page 10 in the oil pan stickys.This pan would be perfect for street rod applications or any lowered vehicles as the sump depth is only 5.5 inches

the lhx does look like a great piece, but the fbody still seems to be the best choice for most because they still can be found used for decent prices.

Yup. F-Body oil pan is the way to go in your truck. I have the same truck & it fits like it was made for the truck. And its lowered.
