4l80E shifter

Any ideas for a cheap shifter? This is a junk yard build on a 54 chev p/u.

I don't want a column shift as I am using the original steering wheel/column

I have seen the expensive floor shifter but I do not have the room to mount them on the tail shaft due to floor clearance.

I believe i will have to mount some type of cable operated shifter.

Any ideas?

i here the late blazer floor shifter will work the 4l60e is the same i believe. i am using a used B&M pro stick i bought used from Craigslist used and bought a 4 speed gate for it.

Lokar makes one similar to those but mounts on the floor instead of the tailshaft.

Thanks! I found the 10" lokar at summit for 189.00 I will probably go with it.

floor shifter

If you have the room, i bouth on for my swap, ended up not using the 4l80 but it is a trans mount style. Ill let it go at a savings if you think you can use it.
