Default LS motor in a Mustang

Hey everyone,

I have a 1999 Mustang GT. It used to be my daily driver until a blew up that little weak 4.6 on nitrous. I have decided I am tired of fighting a losing battle (trying to outrun LS cars) so i am just going to join them. I have had my mustang for 2 years and I just can't sell it. I love the car to much. So my game plan is to drop a 408ci LS motor in. Im kind of new to LS motors, so i would really appreciate any and all advice on combo's. For the time being I would like to keep it a Nitrous motor. I own my own company called xXx Performance so I can get all the ls parts I need. Ive always dealt with mustang stuff so I never bothered with learning anything about ls cars. Pretty much what im wanting is a 408ci LS motor that will be for nitrous. I have been doing a little research but you guys recommendations would be great!

ps. I hope I didnt post this in the wrong section, if i did i apologize.

Check out the conversions and hybrids section. I promise there are no Priuses in it. There are a few LSX Mustang swaps in there.
