Aftermarket gauges I was wondering if it was possible to use the factory signal wires for the oil pressure and water temp on my autometer elec. gauges, Reason behind this is if so I wont have to purchase the sending units from autometer and save a little cash but I dont want to hurt anything gauge or ECM wise and try it without knowing. Any help would be appreciated. Also the gauges are the Phantom series.

You could check with autometers tech dept, but I`m pretty sure that the GM sending units are a different resistance output range than the autometer ones. So the gauges would not be accurate.
