another thing i forgot to mention is that i was expecting that i had to remove the center engine mount brace thingy ( the brace you see mounted on the stock ls motor mount location) i can squeeze in a mushroom filter on there without removing the brace , or even add some ducting and mount the filters somewhere else.
and looking at the pictures you can't tell , but nothing hangs lower than the suspension center brace

DirtyZ, what happened to the GTO oil pan you had machined? I see you went back to the Kevco pan.
If you use the mushroom filters do you think your air intake will be too close to the ground especially if it rains?

the pan is still there , its on the new engine ( which i still didn't install ) . the turbos are not on the car yet , that was just me mocking them up on the car to see where to route stuff ( and i admit ,,, it was for teasing a few people 
)
as for the filters , i agree they are a bit on the low side , but if you think about it , it never rains here
seriously , i might route the turbo intakes upward and find a way to make them get air higher up in the engine compartment , or i might route them through the intercooler splash guard so they pick up air after the intercooler.

looool, i know how you feel . but i'm sorry to say don't expect much updated the next few weeks ; racing season is in full swing here and i really have no time to spare.
between work and keeping the camaro running the porsche has to take a back seat

loool , thanks for the kind words ,
the turbos will be roughly in the stock location I guess.
the racing season is over finally and I guess its time to start working on the other projects again . first on the list is getting the stang done , I need to rewire the car and install the interior again , and after I get that running I can start working on the Porsche . why take the Porsche out of service when its running great now
