quick fan relay question

quick fan relay question
OK I did a search and did not find the correct answer so here goes. I have an aftermarket harness for my LS6 in my 1971 Camaro and there are 2 wires coming out of the harness from the computer for the fans.
Doesn't the computer actually complete the ground to a remote relay for my aftermarket fans????? These wires need to be hooked to the ground side of my fan relays??
Thanks for any help

just in case you need it:
30 – Fused 12 Volt source (generally battery or alternator)
85 – Ground
86 – Triggering switch (generally key-on or Hobbs switch for F/I)
87 – On when relay powered (receives power from 30)
so your ground from pcm goes on the 85 prong
hopes this help.....
