Does this sound like a decent game plan? I am hoping to purchase a 6.0 within the next week or so to put in G Body. Not sure if I will be able to get the computer and harness with it or not. I am planning on running it pretty mild for now (probably upgrade cam only) so I can get the hang of tuning on a cheap motor. Will be purchasing the HP Tuners Pro and the home version of the tuning school to get started.
Putting all the other BS stuff aside like motor mounts, alternator, etc., if I end up getting a computer and harness from somewhere else (assuming the same year as the motor), will I have any issues? I do not think so, but want to be sure before I purchase a motor without everything on it. Not sure if I will tackle the harness or not. Will probably take a good hard look at it. I am in the middle or rewiring the car now as I removed every single wire out of the car. A few of grounds were secured with sheetrock screws, no lie.
