Anyone ever put a 6l80e in a 4th gen fbody with an ls1? Or know of any info about this?

 

Be prepared to do some fabing. and be willing to loose ground clearance. The pan area hangs LOW.

It might be alot easier to use a TCI 6X. Alot better gear spread IMHO

 

Depends on the tunnel height and width in the area of the rear of the trans. Its tight but probably will fit. But they real challenge is that the embedded controller in the trans will not talk to an LS1 pcm. If it cant talk it goes into limp mode and stays in 3rd gear.
