ls1 conversion columbus ohio has anyone in or around columbus ohio done the ls1 swap and or converted their own harness that i can either come look or they come to me to show me how to finish this thing up its getting irritating.

are you tring to use the original fuse box? or make it into a stand alone?
either way its easy,, but it might help if you tell us what year model eng/ecm you are using ,, also what tranny 700r,4l60e 4l80e?

I've done a couple of these swaps on different cars. What are you doing this swap in? I could help you out if you need it and I live in Columbus. If you PM me I will give you my number if you want. I'll try to help as much as I can.
What problems are you having? Older cars are pretty simple to wire in. The harness must become a full stand alone unit including an IGN relay to drive the fuseblock. Your only connections are for the electric gauges and the IGN switch(old coil 12v). Your cable speedo will require a driver box as the 4L60E cannot directly run a cable. Cable-x is the easiest to install with 3 wires to hookup: 12v IGN, grd and speedo output from the PCM
