Weight of LS1 longblock?

Weight of LS1 longblock? What is the weight difference of the old 72 350 with accessories I'm taking out versus the LS1 with accessories I'm putting in? I think I read on an earlier post the LS1 is around 372#s.

Guys could you not guess if ya dont know....
The complete motor, with accesories, top to bottom complete ready to fire in the car is around 300 lbs TOPS.
I carried my longblock in the house from the back of the truck,so id say its 250 lbs for al longblock.
Tranny weighs about 120 lbs with converter.
So about 400-450 lbs complete with tranny.

i pick them up all the time, guess im stronger than i thought. better check your scale.

These numbers where from a freight company. Motor and trans was crated with all wiring(interior and engine), complete motor(all acessories), fuel tank, and two steel drive shafts. So i guess my numbers would be higher. I will be more clear next time. They may have weighed the 50lb pallot also.
