I purchased the Corvette drive system less AC. It appears the newer kits (at least the one I have) come with the later style power steering pulley which looks to have a larger diameter than some of the earlier styles. This has resulted in the pulley being right up against the left control arm.
So... does anyone know of a smaller diameter pulley that has the correct shaft size and the same grooves to match the other pullye's. I want to retain the factory style appearance if possible.
This is going into a 67 F body fyi. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thanks for all who replied. I went to Autozone and purchased one of every pulley they had including the S10 and Corsica pulley. In summary, it does appear the Vette pump has a unique shaft size as none of these worked. FYI - the Corsica pulley shaft is way too big as was the S10 one.
I will check some of the other sources / options mentioned here. In the meantime, I am still open to any other suggestions. Thanks again.

You might not be able to use the vette PS pump, just cuz of them shaft size. Check out that Kwik site, they got great info there. Probly use an F body pump and a remote resevoir.

Go to Autozone and get a Dorman 300-301 which oddly enough is from a 96ish Jeep Cherokee 4.0 engine. They have the puller/ installer as well that you "borrow" if needed.
There may be others as well, but this one seems to address the issue with my application.
Good luck.

Here is one that fits the Corvette power steering shaft and is slightly smaller. These are sold with the CTS-V accessory drive kits. You can see the part number in the picture too. From edge to edge it's 6 3/16". I think yours is closer to 6 3/4".

GM has done their best to make the power steering pump and pulley issue really confusing. Here's some more info that might help:
Most LS Corvette pumps (notice my hesitation to say "all") have a shaft diameter of .66". Many other GM cars have pumps with a .75" shaft. But a few also use the .66" shaft and I don't see any pattern. For example, you can find S10 pickups with either size, depending on which engine was used.
The two pulleys mentioned earlier--the 96 and up Jeep, shows in the Dorman catalog as having a hub diameter of .662", an outside diameter of 5-5/16" with a part number of 300-301. The Ford F150 application, Dorman number 300-010, shows a hub of .626" and an overall diameter of 5-5/8".
Since these are a press fit, the differences in hub diameters are probably usable, especially since we have testimonials from real users noted above.
One more thing I've noticed--the .66" pumps seem to use a snap ring to hold in a ball bearing where the .75" pumps have a press-in bushing without any snap ring. Might help identify a pump you're considering.

I am guessing you used the rest of the stock items from a LS1 Corvette pulley setup?
What did you use for a belt?

Leon - I used the LS1 Vette system and it even appears that the stock belt is going to work as the idler pulley has some wiggle room. Granted I haven't started the engine with the new set up yet, but everything looks to be in order. Good luck.

Was that with the Dooman part listed above?
