Default Thinking of doing a LS1 swap for into a 70

Hey guys,
I am thinking of doing a LS1 swap for into a 70 for something new.

I have a 70 camaro that had a BBC in it for quite some time. I am looking into doing a swap to a LS1. I have read quite a few of the posts in here but I was wondering if you all could give me your list of pro's and cons, maybe your tips and tricks.

right now the 70 has a dana 60 with 411's and a built TH400 and a 90/10 50/50 shock set up. I would do all the bolt-ons, cam, "maybe" heads and a 150-200 shot to it after I swap the bring the gears back down.

any guess on weight of the car after the swap and est et?

Also some pic's of your prodjects would be great. You can send them to trymy01ss@yahoo.com if you perfer.

Thanks guys,
Mike

I'm just starting my '70 Corvette swap. My motor and T56 should be here this week, then I'll be really getting going on it. Many of the guys here have alot documented on their websites, so it would be a good thing to read thru some of them. There's one guy with an 88 Monte SS that really did a great job of documenting everything on a week by week basis. I think his name is John B. Good luck.
