So im doin a 5.3 from a truck into my 64 chevy II. got a few questions, first is cam selection, I have an ls1 intake and a th400 trans, the rest is stock. I have a 3000rpm stall for it but that may be too much. I do want this thing to cruse the streets. So should i grab a stock ls1 cam or an ls6 or TBSS or similar? or what after market do yall reccomend, Keep in mind that im trying not to loose drivability.. Next is the trottle body, can you use the stock truck on the ls1 intake? Its a dbc and i know it bolts up, and if so are the the tps and iac sensors gonna work or do i need ls1 sensors or tb? Im gonna modify the truck harness and have the cpu flashed. oh and with this setup is there any benifit from switching to a heavyer injector or shoud i just be happy w/stock. Thanx.
