PCM did I buy the wrong PCM?
My issue is the PCM I received does not match what the book I purchased on line states as a listed truck or any LS series engine PCM
The numbers on the attached sticker state:
Serv. NO. 12582605
HDW NO. 125807786
At the bottom of the bar coded sticker"12582603"
And on the BLUE side of the box "80 1543 P28018 41"
I have read my PCM number should be #12576106 for 2003 4.8-6.0L
Or #12200411 for 2001-2003 4.8-6.0L and LS1 & LS6
I am not sure which number on the box are the number I should follow, and I am not sure why their are so many similar numbers on the PCM to begin with.
Anyone have a guide that can answer this question?

Service number looks legit for the year. It should match the harness
Dephi released several updates throughout the years, each time with an updated service number to identify the changes. Usually the changes were so minute new/old interchange freely. TPIs are bad about that with each remain company issuing a new service number for the cleaned up ECMs
I am up for it, as I may want to add cruise to the car eventually anyway.
Are the cruise units available with the plugs attached?

I still need to get it flashed to remove the VATS section, however that would be a nice built in anti theft device...
