Default 240sx Motor Mounts - Set

I have setup a jig from my mounts, and am thinking of making a run of some sets. Just seeing if there is any interest in them. I know it will clear the steering rack, puts the shifter in correct place (can even fit a Pro 5.0 through the stick hole) and is even with bottom of the stock X-member. Uses the GTO pan and will have to mod the X-member to clear.

I will make the motor mounts, Delran Bushings, and Trans mounts. All powder coated Black.

Price will be about $250-$300.

Can include dimiensions of how to mod X-member and could also do the mod for you if I had the X-member. For about $100 more or so.

Also I have some sets of LS2 Manifold flanges so you can make a 2.5" exhaust using these flanges.

Price will be about $50 per set.

Let me know, if there is enough interest I will start up on these and have them available in a week of 2.

You can see pics of my mounts and build in my Build Page on here

This is exactly what I don't need when trying to convince myself RB25 over LS.... are you going to be prototyping on your S13 before the final product is for sale? Can we expect some pics from that?

Cheers,
-Joe

Its already been prototyped and in my build thread. I already have a working set of mounts to make sure everything cleared the way I wanted it to. All I need to do is make a run of them and powdercoat them. Its all good to go as of now. Here are some pics..

Steering Rack Clearance

Cooling Fan Clearance (Taurus fan)

Manifold Flanges - LS2

Mounts themselves (not powdercoated as of yet)

would be nice if they were those things look stout. however the sectioning of the crossmember im not too keen on. but would be useful info none the less and im sure one could use a thicker bushing or damper material to adjust as necessary right? wonder how those sikky mounts are. they look the same. or was it the re designed oil pan that made it not need to cut the subframe?

It is the CRAZY expensive oilpan that makes you not have to notch the crossmember. And honestly speaking, the stock crossmember is WAY more weak than my modified crossmember is now. When I MOD mine I dont do like most do and cut all but 1/2" of the back out. I do and angle cut. And only take about 1.5" out of top and only the pinch weld out of the bottom. Then use a piece of 1/8" angle to box it in and then use 1/8" plate to make it look good at an angle on the front.

Plus when you stitch weld the stock Crossmember you gain extra strength also. And I stitch EVERY crossmemeber I MOD.

Any pics of your modded crossmember? Can you make a mount for a 4l80e?

I dont have an auto trans sitting around, so it could be difficult but not impossible. I can def take some measurements and see what I can come up with. I believe the 4l80e and 4l60e have the same mounting points. I will look into it.

Here are some pics of my modded X-member. I have since added a angled cover piece to cover up the plug welds, just to make it look more pleasing.

Your mounts seems to put the motorset in the same location as the sikky kit. If I knew these mounts would work with the sikky oilpan I'd have to get a set. Modded crossmembers aren't formula drift legal :[
