I would seriously consider ditching the BRP swap components and LH8 pan. You would be much better off looking into the Holley swap components and Holley oil pan.

I looked at Holly, but they don't make a cross member that will fit the 6l90e. BRP does. What is wring with BRP?

I used them on my 66 GTO project, completely different vehicle than yours, nothing really fit very well, and the LH8 pan hangs down too low for my comfort, some people like BRP, some like Holley it’s your choice, I just recommend doing your research and read up on others experiences and make your decision.

I think I will look again at holly. After looking this weekend. I have seen a few guys use them and the 6l80e fits. So I might as well give it a try.

Default LS1 into Ford Sierra (UK same as Taurus...)

Hi guys,
Whilst not new to doing crazy engine swapa, I am new to the LS world and Loving IT!!!

I need help.....

A friend has fitted a 97 'vette c5 engine with a Turbo 400 to a 4 door saloon as a sleeper BUT the ECM (LS1A) is toast!
He's bought a 411 ECM to replace it which brings me to my questions:
As this engine is Drive By Wire which TAC module and Pedal assy do we need to run
And
All the wiring conversion charts that I can find do not list the TAC connections... Can anybody point me in the direction of a COMPLETE pinout for the LS1A ECM and for the 411
(On the LS1a ECM we have wires on Red C1-64 and Blue C2-71,72,77 that I can't identify...)

Thanks

Bob

Default Ridetech Tru Turn

Is anyone running the new style try turn kit by ride tech as well as the current hooker black heart headers with holley 302-2 pan and mounts?

I just installed the Holley/hooker "kit" if you will, into 74 Ventura. Mounts crossmember all fit great, headers (mid-length 2.5") fit great around the steering box. The only issue I've had is with center link interference to the pan (302-2), if you're doing a nova you should be good.
