Default 65 Impala headers

Anyone have experience with what headers will work with the 65 Impala on an LS1 swap? Street and Performance says yes they have one, give no information, and tell me they are $600.

$600 sounds a little steep for a set of headers considering the whole engine cost me $2500.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Ordered a set of Summit Ceramic Coated Huggers that claim will fit. No restock fee, so worth a shot for me.

no luck with these. First, the collector had no way to be mounted since it would hit the oil pan. I even called tech support and e-mailed him photos and got a duh....

I can tell you from personal experience that you get what you pay for when it comes to Street&Performance products. They're expensive but they make up for it in quality and customer support.

Thanks Deuce. I bit the bullet and ordered a set today. Now the waiting and fabricating game begin. I still have to get the radiator situated next.
