what mods do i have to make???? I have a 68 chevelle. I purchased a 5.3 truck motor and im goin to put it in my car. Do i have to modify the trans tunnel and engine cross member what kinda oil pan can i use./ thanks all for help.
depends on what trans your going to use and where you place the Engine/Trans...
Generally.. older trans and 4L60E are not mods.. T56 / 4L80E will / might require some to a lot depending on how and where you mount the engine and trans again.
Again. depends on what oil pan... I used a CTS-V and didn't have to mod the pan or x-member. F-Body can fit, but it is really tight (have to use BRP style mount plates). Aftermarket pans usually will fit without any mods also.
