Default 4L60E tranny problem

My car is not shifting into2nd gear unless I let off the gas then go back into the throttle for it to go into 2nd gear, 3rd and 4th go in without problem. any Ideas ? I plug the scan tool in and it show that the speedo mis moving TIA

If your scan tool is able to display the commanded gear see if it commands 2nd or not when it won't shift. That will tell you if it is the trans itself or the pcm not commanding 2nd. If it commands 2nd and doesn't shift, you may need a rebuild or have a valvebody problem. If it doesn't command 2nd, you probably need to properly tune the shift points. Also check the fluid level and condition if you haven't already.

I have check all fluid and they all good , how can I tell from a Snap On scan tools if it command or not.

Some scanners dont display this pid. If yours does it should be in the data display where you see the rpms and othe engine parameters. The best thing would be either a tech2 or a tuning suite like hptuners.
