Please understand that these pictures are during mock-up and the real part has a formed flat collector. These are also a 2" primary tube, not a 1 3/4". The finished part is a really nice piece. If you want clearance in a specific area let me know what you are looking for and I see what I can find.

It looks tight in the picture, but yes they removed the filter with the 2" headers in the car. The 1 3/4" & 1 7/8" have quite a bit more clearance then the 2" headers.

Do you have any pics of ground clearance from the side? How do your 2" primary headers compare to the hawks stainless works versions?

When I went though the pics these were about the best pics I had, I didn't see any with the car on the ground from the side, but I'll go through the customer installation photos and see if I have any tomorrow.

Jeff,
I'm interested in 82-92 f-body 1 7/8" headers and engine mounts. Only problem or question I have is have these been fitted with a 4L80e. I need this info to see if this would be able to fit with the 80. I pm'd you a couple days ago asking about this and asking price for headers and mounts.

Do you think you have any longtube currently made up that could work on an LS motor
in a 1991 mazda RX 7 with a 200-R4 auto trans. There is pretty good room on each side. Can send pics if that would help. Currently have shorty S10 LS conversion headers, but really need long tube. Will do most anything to get this done. Hope you can help! Thanks

I once saw some longtube fenderwell style headers on a 1962 Impala that were listed as prototype headers bought from you. They went on to say they returned them because the fit wasn't working. They also sent back a mid-length style header according to the build thread. Is there any chance that those fenderwell style still stayed in production?? I would really like to have that style header on my x-frame chevy. I'm not the type to worry about doing mods to make headers fit or running a used set. If the longtube fenderwells didn't make it past that prototype set, they wouldn't happen to still be laying around your business would they? I'm located in middle Georgia...so it wouldn't be too far for me to just drive up.

The short answer is no, the first run of headers were built using a car that didn't have the parking brake cable, along with other items, installed. We discontinued those headers a long time ago. The mid-lengths we currently sell were re-designed, but that was before I came to work here. I've sold a few pairs and everyone said they worked great, but that is as far as my personal experience with them goes.

My car has no parking brake.....those fenderwell ones would have been perfect I think. Oh well....I guess I'll have to have some custom built. TY for the reply. If you get any info on an old set laying around somewhere please pass it along. I would think what ever sets were made wouldn't be of much use to anyone else since 99% of people run a parking brake.

Not yet, we have a few more things to finish up this year, then we will sit down and plan the new swaps for next year. We are hoping to do the 4x4 Chevy trucks next year.

So far i have sent like 2 emails to the company and got 1 reply. Considering i have emailed every header company i can think of and got 1 back for brp i am happy. I do relaize i am not the only person on earth so they cant reply fast. On this site it took a few days for brp to log on but when they did i have recived an pm back everyday. That is better then i can say about the prob 10 other places i have tryed. I think i have acctually pissed a few people off at doug thorly or what ever.

I beg you guys to put a rush on the 4x4 73-87 kits. I know of many people that want long tubes but cant find any.

I have been looking for a set of their headers that are apparently discontinued, and he's still been helpful with PM's trying to locate me a set and making sure they are the ones I am after. Like he said, you can't please everyone.
