Autometer speedo

Can someone please help? I am trying to hook up an autometer electronic speedometer to my car and was curious as to which wire in the harness to hook up to? I have it tied into the transmission wire right now and it is intermittent. Also gives a code loss of vss. I have 4l80e and LY6.

If I'm not mistaken, you have to hook it up to the Speedo out of the PCM.

Could be wrong tho. I will be coming to this spot on my build soon.

Well I have an Ecm E38 and a TCM T67. Do I go ecm or Tcm?

I used a Dakota Digital tac and speedo. You will probably need an interface. There will be two wires from your transmission (vehicle speed sensor) that go to your Transmission Control Module. You have to wire these to your interface BEFORE THEY GO TO THE TCM. One goes to ground, the other goes to the interface. A wire comes out of the interface and connects to the wire that used to go to the TCM. Instructions should be with your interface
