fuel line question.

I know it maybe frowned apon,but has anyone skipped the fancy quickdisconnect lines and use fuel injection hose and clamps ? If so have you had any issues. Thankss

You can do that as long as you use properly rated psi and also the correct size fuel pressure clamps NOT hose clamps

An absolute TON of swaps use clamps atleast somewhere in the fuel system on the high pressure side. Check out the C5 filter thread

Rick is right on the clamps. Hose clamps have a worm screw. Fuel pressure clamps have a collar and a bolt

Personally, Id never skimp on the fuel system or the brakes

Even though I am running at a low fuel pressure, I have way too much money invested in this **** to trust a rubber fuel line and clamp.

I have run it for about 10 years at 55psi no problems just have the right hose and you will be fine.
