Rack and Pinion in a 3rd Gen?

Has anyone ran Rack and Pinion steering in a 3rd Gen? I'm starting my LS Swap and would actually prefer to have rack and pinion instead of the centerlink design. What would I have to do to run this? and which K Member would be best for it? I've been looking at the BMR Tubular with the LS1 Mounts. Thanks in Advance

I used a spohn k-member with ls mounts on my project. Worked well. I purchased the one w/o spring perches (went coil over) and used a pinto style rack from an '86 Lincoln Mark VII. Worked well but I have to honest and say that I never finished the project and never tested the end product.

With the proper mounts and a custom steering shaft, everything works out

I used a manual Fiero rack on my 3rd gen drag project

I've seen manual racks but I would prefer a power rack since this will be a street/strip car.... if I can't find one I'll just stick to the Centerlink design...
