Also if you are new to Studebakers, I suggest you join the Studebaker Drivers Club. There are a surprising number of resources available for these cars considering they have not been made for 44 years. On the site I am linking to you below there is an active forum and there are members there that have done swaps of all varieties into Studebakers. On neat thing is their frame and basic suspension design did not change from 1951 until 1966 when they quit making them. So if you find information on an earlier model it may well work with yours. One thing to know on the larks, in the last 2 years of production they had Chevy 283s in them, so those mounts are available and will bolt into your 62 and there are many adapters in the market for LSx-->SBC.
