Need help with conversion I am planning to build a ls2 motor i have an idea of what i want in brands but not sure on sizes and such. I am was wondering if you guys can help me out. Cause i was planning to drop it in a 88 fox, and i have all the chassis ready for the track just need a engine and trans. so i was wondering on how i should build the ls2 up and this is what i was thinking so far.
Engine Components
Heads: AFR
Rockers:Harland sharps
Push rods:Hardened
Valves: Manley
Springs:Livernois
Camshaft:244/242 HPE mega deth
Intake Manifold: Ls6
Tb:fast 70 or 90mm
Pistons,crank,c-rods: Eagle
Ignition
Battery: Optima yellow top
Plugs: NGK
Distributor:MSD or Jegs
Wires: MSD or moroso
Fuel
Fuel pump: ?
Fuel lines/supply: Jegs
Injectors: Accel lbs. ?
Exhaust
Exhaust: Borla/Slp/Spintech
catback/ x or h pipe
Headers: kooks/hookers 1 3/4
Also i was wondering do they have a plate or something so that a c4 trans can work with a ls2? Because i can get a really built trans for cheap off a friend. I was going to throw that on if it would fit and put a reverse valve body and ratchet shifter.
So i am looking forward to see what you all think and just say if something if you think i should get something else instead.
