got 'em in my goat, and absolutely love 'em... wish i knew about them before i bought the autometers for the nova. do yourself a favor, spend some coin and go with the gps speedo. installation is sooooooooooo simple, plus no calibration. the only downside is the fuel gauge is setup for some freaky sender, not the typical 0-90 ohm GM style.

I thought the fuel gauge was programmable? you can use any sending unit you like...

GPS speedo sounds great but what happens when u get out of range of the satellites? or go in a tunnel? my tomtom can barely get a signal with out being next to the window and loses satellites constantly. and the speedo is in a metal and foam padded dash.

I thought you just used a GPS device to find your true speed and then "dial in" your speedo. After that, you didn't need the GPS signal and your speedo never even used it. Is this correct?

Do they have odometers?

The speedo has an antenna/cord that is routed onto the dash somewhere so it picks up a better signal.

Although it may be possible to lose signal it shouldn't be a big deal or last for more than a minute or two

ya, it's programmable. i connected the wires together to simulate empty (0 ohms) rather than run the thing dry. it's just weird that it's not setup for the typical 0-90 ohm sender.

the gps speedo (further) shortens install time, since you don't have to run wires or a speedo cable to the trans. and like someone said earlier, you can change gears/tires and not worry aboot recalibrating it - it's plug and play (i haven't even calibrated the autometer in my nova, and it's been in there for months). plus they feature 0-60, 1/4 mile, elevation, compass, trip and overall odo, etc. etc.

I think that looks like a pretty good deal for 6 gauges. The only one missing is boost lol.
