Default 67 camaro help.....

i ordered a set of emblems. they came in and have a nut u attach on the back side of each one. how in the world do you get to the back side of the fender to put these on without taking the fender off? i just painted it and got it lined up and dont wanna have to take it back apart n scratch everything

You have two choices if you can't get to the nuts.Drop the inner fenders down ,which is not too bad,or get some clips that push in.These work pretty well, you just put them on the emblems and push in,they dont have to have the nuts on the back side.Chevy dealer may still have them,or one of the aftermarket camaro places.I think they are called barrel clips or nuts.

Ideally you should get behind the fender and use the nuts.

However, I cut off the posts from the emblem and used 3M exterior double-sided adhesive (like 3M 6395). And it worked A-OK.

You should be able to loose the inner fender well and maybe take out the bottom fender bolt.. lift the fender and wheel well away some and see if you can reach in and tighten the nut, use a gearwrench or 1/4" drive. I had to do this for my Chevelle.

then just re-tighten the wheel well and bottom fender bolts.
